This program teaches Debbie's unique Merrill Magic Program - an informative, motivational and entertaining way to learn in-line skating. You'll learn the skills and drills to trick your body into a safe, fun and exhilarating skating experience. Debbie's dynamic technique will take your mind off your fears, freeing your body to skate. In one hour, you can teach yourself to skate, look and feel great at any age. In-line skating cultivates personal empowerment, strength, stamina, balance, coordination, weight loss and control. Discover how quickly your skating promotes fitness and fun.

Subjects covered include: Stretch and warm up exercises; body alignment and awareness; gearing up and safety equipment; basic forward skating; safe falling techniques; how to use the edges; stopping, heal brake, 3 stage stop and snow plow stop; maintaining control and confidence; arm movement; pump turns; and skills and drills including, swizzles, pumps & 1-2-3's to enhance an easy smooth flowing guide using your skater's edges.

Debbie Merrill, instructor to the Stars, is the founder of the Skate Great USA School of Skating in Santa Monica, California. She has successfully trained thousands of students, including Steve Martin, Melanie Griffith and Kim Delaney. Debbie is an International Figure Skating Star and a USA certified instructor.
